Hi All!

First....the tooth is much better....THANK you all for your well-wishes!

Second.....Can anyone point me to a brief, comprehensive (understandable for me) tutorial on how to "fancy up" one's journal?  I've wanted to work on mine for a long time, and finally decided I'm going to at least start on something simple!  Does a tutorial of this nature exist?

My brain can't comprehend (focus) on anything like CSS now - as my ability to absorb anything even remotely related to html is non-existant!    (I have a math/sequential dyslexia and strings of letters/numbers all run together and I can't remember them)

Some of the things I'd like to know are how to do bold face type, add thumbs - in the right spots - add a graphics pic, do headers/footers, feature other wonderful artists and favs of mine, and generally just personalize it more.  :D  :D

I would genuinely appreciate any suggestions any of you might have on where to look for this info!!!!

Hugzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz,

Anita    :blowkiss:  :D

lol, I know CSS very well, but sadly I'm not sure what to tell you in terms of starting off. However, once you start working on it, I can help you out any time you need it :)

Here is how to make someone's clickable avatar appear on your journal:

If I put it down correctly, then all you will see is the image.

So, here is the formula.

Remove the semi-colons and put in colons. Good luck.

You have to be a subscriber (and a beta tester for the css), to add the graphic headers and footers, deviation thumbnails, etc.

As a free user, I can give you is how to make font bold type this:

<_b_>text to bold</_b_>, but without all the _'s

also <_u_>text to underline</_u_> for underlines, and <_i_>italic text</_i_>to make text italic, just take out all the underscores!
