This is especially for Deb :icondwalker1047: for her own private "walk in the woods".....a little escape from city life. (yes, bears really do come through these woods) Hugzzzzz Deb.

From my "walks in the Alaska woods" series - wilderness in the middle of the city. I love it when protected greenbelts are left wild, without the brush cutting and grooming/planting of grass. I think the natural setting is much more beautiful - just as Mother Nature created it! :-)

A lovely bushland scene, Anita ~ I'd be a little scared of the bears though ~ we have no large animals to fear in Australia (but we do have nasty snakes and crocodiles!) :deviation: :camera: :rose: Coco

I'm not sure which is worse - crocodiles or bears! But I DO hate snakes - and we have NO snakes! :D Thanks Coco - it is so pretty in the woods. :-)

Thank you Anita. What beautiful woods you have in Alaska. No sure about the bear part though LOL, but how lucky you are to live in such a wonderful place. :icongwomp:

You're very welcome Deb. :D I've felt lucky for 43 years - to live here and I never take it for granted! As for the bears.....I love having them in the area - as long as I don't SEE one!! Have seen the bear scat though, in the woods here....that's as close as I want to get! :D
