Thanks so much for the views/favs/comments on My Alaska Series of Landscape Photos![link] I truly appreciate it!
Its been winter here for awhile and we had about 5 inches of snow on the ground. Then this weekend we received almost another foot of snow here! I grabbed my camera late this afternoon/evening as the light was waning and walked across the parking lot to the University woods. The combination of the almost darkness/evening, sky color, angle of natural lighting, and UAA lights created this awesome blue sky.....when it was actually mostly cloudy! I have not added any/or adjusted blue coloring. It was really unusual.....and gorgeous.....AND cold! About 9 degrees!!
Taken with available light and my Cannon A-720 IS.
I am back at DA still on an intermittent basis for a while. I am doing better with the medical issues.
Due to severe Carpal Tunnel (goes along with Graves' Disease) I am not able to do very many comments - if at all. Breaks my heart, but I can't change that.
So just remember.......if I fav your work, with no comments.....I LOVE it!! Please accept my thanks in advance for your views, favs and comments .they are all very much appreciated!
And please remember......all of us as artists here at DA put in long hours of work to create our art. Have the kindness to request permission to use our work. ALL work here is copyright by the individual artist.
Why thank you so much! I have my camera set on panoramic view, so I have to crop the edges when submitting wallpaper. Then it won't show the camera settings on DA. I'll have to look up the original file and find it.......I've just been re-building both laptops and moved everything off to external hard drives! I TRY to keep folders and files organized, but with 150 gigs of photos and art.....it gets a little confusing at times.....but I'l try to find the info for you, because I don't remember it right off hand. Happy New Year!
Well....if she hates hot weather and humidity as much as I did, growing up in N.C......then this is the place for her! lol The day I stepped off the plane in Alaska years ago......I instantly "felt at home"! It was summer and pleasantly cool and dry.....no humidity.....and I was completely hooked! Still here after 43 years....and LOVE it!
