BURNING WINTER SKY by 1arcticfox BURNING WINTER SKY by 1arcticfox
A BIG thank you to everyone who has commented and faved my recent snow photos!! I can't seem to keep up but want you to know how much I appreciate each and every one! :-)

Dramatic arctic skies in winter...sky colors are different because of the very low angle of the sun, and two skies are never the same. The oranges and yellows make me think of fire. :-). :D Very cold out and frosty, but a big warm-up is coming. Not looking forward to that! :-)

Very desolate, isolated, alone, yet beatiful

Very nice. I love the undulating waves in the snow. Wonderful sunset.

Thanks so much Roz! We had high winds on the coast and though you can't see it, the water is just barely beyond the trees. The winds sculpted the snow into this "pattern". :-)
