This is especially for Deb for her own private "walk in the woods".....a little escape from city life. (yes, bears really do come through these woods) Hugzzzzz Deb.
From my "walks in the Alaska woods" series - wilderness in the middle of the city. I love it when protected greenbelts are left wild, without the brush cutting and grooming/planting of grass. I think the natural setting is much more beautiful - just as Mother Nature created it!

Thanks Lea! Absolutely right! I love looking at all the various types of little plants. We're lucky because we have no snakes or poisonous critters, very few spiders/bugs and those are little, not the giant ones you get in the South! We ONLY have moose, bears and mosquitos! The bug spray takes care of the mosquitos, and the bear spray is the protection from the big critters! :hug
Well, I don't know, what the heck do they use for bear spray? And what size of a container does it come in??? I couldn't resist! Actually I have heard of bear spray but always wondered what they do use.
You're very welcome Deb! I actually load pics from my walks into My Pictures folder and check the My Pictures Slideshow, as the screensaver - then turn off all the lights and sit in front of my computer to relax. I can't tell you how much time I spent in front of my computer watching my outdoor shots - when I was so sick and couldn't get out! It wasn't as good as being outside, but it sure did help.
